National Trends and Services
The vision of the National Trends and Services facet is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to services through advocacy, education and service. The organization’s national goals include increasing the number of sustainable and measurable programs, increasing collaborative partnerships and extending our existing initiatives to include communities identified as having the greatest need. The Pittsburgh Chapter seeks to empower the communities in which we work to include communities identified as having the greatest need.
The National Trends Facet is proud to present “Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. is the Answer” Film, an award-winning faith-based documentary offering a powerful message of reconciliation, seeking to improve relations between police and people of color. The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is a sponsor of two showings of this powerful film and panel discussion at the August Wilson Cultural Center. |
