Welcome to the website of The Pittsburgh (PA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated
The Links Incorporated, founded in 1946 in Philadelphia, PA by nine friends to provide engaging educational, civic, and inter-cultural activities to underserved communities throughout 41 States, the Commonwealth of Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer organizations in the country. Over 16,000 dynamic women comprise the Links Inc. Members are decision makers, opinion leaders, and distinguished achievers. The Links members contribute more then 1 million documented hours of community service annually. The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Links Inc. was chartered in 1948. As the chapter approaches its 75 th anniversary, the 56 active and alumni members continue to serve the Pittsburgh community. We focus our programming efforts through five facets: Health and Human Services, Services to Youth, National Trends, International Trends, and the Arts. We are proud of the seven decades of service, and we encourage you to browse our website and learn more about our programming, partnerships, and legacy.
