Please join us on March 25 at 7 pm for a discussion addressing the City of Pittsburgh's Gender Equity Commission report. In 2019, the City of Pittsburgh’s Gender Equity Commission issued a report revealing the inequalities and inequities that women of color face in the City of Pittsburgh.
In Celebration of Women’s History Month, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Links, Inc will host a presentation of the report and recommendations, including a keynote address and panel discussion. The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Links, Inc. celebrated its 70th Anniversary with a wonderful evening held at the August Wilson Cultural Center on November 10, 2018. The anniversary theme was “70 Years of Links Excellence: A Celebration of Service and Sisterhood.”
Keystone Cluster, 12th Annual Friendship Brunch, & Founders DayTwelve years ago the Keystone Chapters responded to the call of our National President to be more intentional in celebrating Friendship in its true meaning. The Philadelphia Chapter extended the first invitation for the nine Keystone Chapters to come together in friendship with a luncheon. Each year one chapter has hosted the event but all the chapters participate in the planning. We have hosted according to the charter year of the Chapter. The Pittsburgh Chapter has the distinction of being the fourth oldest chapter within Keystone. November is the month we celebrate both our Founders and Friendship.
The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Links served as a community partner for the American Heart Association's 2017 Power of Laughter Luncheon. Kim Coles returned as the keynote speaker, and comedian Damon Williams entertained.
